The hostel owner isu was so friendly and so are the staff, they were smiling every time we met and we played caroom together for a long time and hostel owner also showed to us to various places with his bike. I’m from Japan!! This was such a wonderful place to stay. Very clean, and above all, the people are amazing. Kani is extremely friendly and kind. He did so many things for me!! I also admire his way of thinking—he truly values encounters and connections with people. You can see it not only in his words, but also in his actions. Thank you for the precious experience in Sigiriya!! Highly recommended!!! Some people may think it’s a bit far from Sigiriya Rock, but actually the entrance is on the west side, and I believe this is one of the few places within walking distance around there.

There was a pool in the bedroom of the king suite, which was amazing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I also enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner that was included.

The room is great, the bed was very comfortable, the place is quiet. The breakfast was generous and delicious. I would also recommend to try the rice and curry for dinner that also was delicious!

We stayed here as a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredible – he ordered and organised things for us, gave us loads of tips about the local area, and even went above and beyond when my friend left her bag at a bus stop. He actually tracked it down and drove it back to us! His whole family were so kind and welcoming, which made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was amazing every morning, and the beds were huge double bunks, super comfy after a long day exploring. Honestly, the host and his family made the trip for us – such a special place to stay
