What really makes this hostel special is the atmosphere and the people. The host is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything, transport, food, or planning activities. I joined their eco-kitchen experience and village tour, and it felt very authentic. The food was fresh and delicious, cooked with ingredients from the farm. I also booked my Yala safari through the hostel, and it was super well organized with a great driver who explained everything and really tried to find animals. It was a smooth and stress free experience. For the price, you get way more than expected. It feels like a mix of hostel comfort, homestay warmth, and eco-village experience. I definitely recommend Go Yala Hostel to anyone visiting Tissamaharama or planning a Yala safari. I would love to come back again!
