However, the owner was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He picked us up from a 1 am flight. The breakfast was good. He gave us fruit right from his garden. He got us cell phone service and advice for our trip. He gave us adapters for plugs and helped with all sorts of advice. Guests leave items to share: Sunscreen, Shampll, lotion, etc... that you can use. He has a simple quaint garden with active bird life. It was a good location and a nice welcome.

I was in Colombo before and went to Negombo because its a nice place very near the airport. There were certain options to go to, curlys hostel was one of the cheapest in my case. I booked for 3 days and stayed at least 11 days because the room was perfect with a very comfortable bed (I was the only visitor for 8 days) and AC in a cozy house with everything I needed. Curly is a superb host, also the employeed house maker called aunty, the hostel got cleaned every day and the food was delicious. Drank also 'Old Arrack' from Rockland with ice there, can very recommend that spirit
