One of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in. Is perfect if you're looking to stay in a chilled out hostel where everyone is mindful of each other, quiet and considerate. Sam, the owner, is such an awesome guy and will help you out with anything you need. This would be one of the only hostels really giving back to the community around it, and trying to do things here in Sri Lanka the 'right' way. Hope to be back here in the future!

Welcoming, Great vibes. Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights or even weeks. Situated 2km away from the beach is the perfect location to chill and explore the surroundings. The hostel is in front of a beautiful lake where you can take a kayak or a small boat and navigate the water. The structure has a beautiful kitchen where you can prepare your meals and the spacious single rooms are ideal for a nice rest. The staff are doing a good job by maintaining the hostel in great condition, also they are very helpful with information and giving you the feeling of being in a family environment!

After exploring this beautiful Island, I was looking for a super cool place on the beach to chill with my daughter. She had to return and I found my family and stayed for my last week. The best part of an amazing trip is when you find your family 😀🍀😎 The place is very relaxing, Madura and his family will look after you and when you are cool you can experience real Sri Lanka life. The food was out of this world and I also got invited to the real local food and best company. Thanks for the most fantastic hospitality and inviting me in. The parties have been brilliant so the combination is perfect. Highly recommend!!!

A very welcoming and completely renovated property surrounded by greenery, very close to "Jungle Beach," a unique experience that immerses you in the true culture of Sri Lanka. Although the hostel is not currently on Google Maps, and therefore difficult to find, there is a Tuc Tuc service offered by the host who will take you from the first hostel, "Oops," to "Hanuman Heights"! Very nice! Definitely an experience to try at least once in your life.
