It was also awesome to be able to rent a bicycle from them for a day and cycle. Loved living in the community of locals, being in nature and getting away from the noise and tourists for awhile. Also, Jud is an amazing chef and the food was wonderful. She and Isuru also helped to try to alleviate my conjestion by making me a steam bowl with lime leaves. They are a truly lovely family and I miss them already,

Staff was sooooo friendly and helpful, community area had a ton of activities and unexpected amenities, there was a cute boutique at the front of the hostel that my sister and I purchased clothes from for gifts etc. These ladies were so nice and caring, helped us get rides and translate when we needed help. Room was nice and location was perfect, right around the corner was the beach, the main road was right there but it wasn't loud at night, and Galle was about a 25 min walk

A very welcoming and completely renovated property surrounded by greenery, very close to "Jungle Beach," a unique experience that immerses you in the true culture of Sri Lanka. Although the hostel is not currently on Google Maps, and therefore difficult to find, there is a Tuc Tuc service offered by the host who will take you from the first hostel, "Oops," to "Hanuman Heights"! Very nice! Definitely an experience to try at least once in your life.

Short or long term - they have all you might need: cozy simple rooms with fans and anti-mosquito-nets above beds, gorgeous huge kitchen with all the utensils and appliances, big living room with a nice table to eat and work at the laptop, good Wi-Fi connection (not that stable though - dependent on weather? :), several washrooms, a garden with a place for grill and outdoor dinners! Unbeatable price/value rate! Highly recommended and will be back 100%!
