It’s not about being fancy or full of luxury. The facilities are simple, clean, and practical. Exactly what you’d expect for the price. But what makes this place extraordinary is the hospitality, warmth, and genuine care that the team puts into everything they do. Even the small moments show it. One evening at dinner, my plate came with mashed potatoes (which I don’t like). I asked for an empty plate just to separate the food, and while I thought the request had been forgotten, a staff member came back minutes later with a fresh serving of hot rice made just for me! Completely unasked for. That’s the level of thoughtfulness they put into their guests. And then there’s the magic of their special dinners. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday they cook something unique… a different dish every time, prepared with love and served not because they have to, but because they want us to connect, share, and feel at home. They don’t even eat with us; it’s all about creating a space where travelers can gather and build friendships. It’s rare to find a hostel with this much heart and soul. Honestly, it feels less like a hostel and more like a family. The only downside? It’s becoming harder to find a bed because everyone wants to stay here! So if you see availability, don’t hesitate! The hostel offers a sun terrace. One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Felt like home. Cyren is the most wonderful host. They have family dinner every Mon, Wed, Fri where they invite everyone for a homecooked veg dinner on the house. Got to meet so many lovely travellers from all over the world at this hostel. Free breakfast every morning, also delicious. Cyren cooks something different every morning and super tasty.

They were both lovely the gentleman helped me with my transportation booking and gave me useful tips for Laos and the lady make sure I had local breakfast every morning before my tours!! They were all delicious and filling! It’s a bit of a walk to the night market surroundings but I actually liked how it was on an ally street away from the main road. There’s everything you could need around and great coffee shops. I felt quite safe as a solo female traveler.

So everything is so clean and comfortable. You can feel that the mattress are new and nice. The location is great its 2 min walk from the night market. There is a nice pool in the hostel and it’s really nice to just chill there and talk with some people. The staff were also super nice and helpful I stayed there for 4 nights (every day i booked another night)
