Coconut Beach is a magical place on its own, and Rafikis gives you the chance to experience it even more intensely. The accommodation is clean and practical, and the guys are kind and very helpful. A big plus is the option of dining right there..the menu is thoughtfully put together with healthy choices. I especially appreciated that, since I have a gluten intolerance, they make their own gluten-free dough for pizza, pita, and bread.

The dorm is really good—clean, with comfortable beds, and the setup is well thought out. The toilets and showers are separate, and the bathrooms are divided by gender, which is a nice touch. They even provide a hair dryer, and the hot water works well, though it’s more warm than hot. The staff are polite and super friendly, making the atmosphere welcoming. The pool is clean and a great place to relax, and the on-site restaurant serves tasty meals. The location is excellent, especially if you’re planning to visit Koh Rong Island, as it’s close to the pier. It’s a perfect transit spot for travelers. Highly recommend!

Stayed for two nights and had a great time with the German hosts who run this little hostel for 12 years now. The swimming pool is a nice little extra. The asian food from the restaurant was so good that I did not bother to dine out (which I usually do). Rooms are clean. The entire premises are well kept. Recommended.

Very lovely and welcoming hosts who were always happy to answer our questions or chat. They made us feel at home, gave us interesting insights into the local community on the island, and gave the best tips for local restaurants. M’Pai Bay turned out to be a walhalla for foodies, with some must-try restaurants!!! We had some of the most amazing food here. If you want to experience the true charm of this village and eat in all the superb local restaurants, I definitely recommend staying in M’Pai Bay. You can visit the other beaches of the island easily via taxi boat (5$ pp). Dragonfly Guesthouse has a nice bar and lounge area where you can chill with ocean views, and their restaurant with vegan food is amazing. The room was according to the description, with nice decorations and a private bathroom and balcony. It was a peaceful place to stay.

This was the most amazing place I’ve been to on my travels so far. Koalama felt like home, the place really has a personality and is not just an average hostel. The atmosphere is so nice, with the music changing every day and catching exactly the vibe of the guests. I really enjoyed my stay at Koh Rong Lagoon. The staff is very friendly, authentic and helping with every question I had. The beds are big and very comfortable, with two pillows. Lockers are provided and the bathrooms are very clean. The hostel is in a beautiful surrounding with a lot of nature. And its run by Khmer people, which I really like. They know everything about the island and can provide a lot of information about Cambodia, I had good conversations and felt very welcome.

The Last Point Koh Takiev features a garden, private beach area, a restaurant and bar in Koh Ta kiev Island. The accommodation offers room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests.

This is the most stripped back of the hostels on Koh ta Kiev but it’s definitely the one with the best vibe. It doesn’t rely solely on backpacking volunteers but employs Khmer staff who are all lovely. Food here is the cheapest on the island, drinks are cheap, great happy hour at 3 every day. Max is a really great host and looks out for everyone. You can stray out for a drink or a swim at the other places on the island but it always felt like home coming back to last point in the evening. We booked for 4 nights and ended up staying one week.
