Great hostel with good facilities (bed + room). This hostel gives off a very great vibe with wooden chairs, table. I also like the shampoo and shower gel here, very good quality, also the hairdryer is also provided. The bathroom is super clean and staff are all helpful

The hostel was extremely clean and the personnel was very kind. I arrived earlier thank check in time and I could store my luggage there and use lounge room in the meantime! Location is also very good: 20 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes from the lake and Lawson is just around the corner.

The place is very close to the train station and just a few steps away there is a spectacular view of the mt.Fuji. The place is quite new, clean and comfy. We rented a bike and could use it all day just for 500 yen. There are towels for customers, tea and coffee. Also you can use the shared areas such as the kitchen or the living space. The staff was very nice also.

I had a truly wonderful stay, the hostel manager, Saori, was attentive, kind and infectiously bubbly. All my needs were catered for, be it the recently installed bathroom or kitchen facilities, the much needed washing machine, or the restaurant that Saori also runs alongside the hostel. The property was also very comfortable; I had been travelling for several days when I arrived, walking lots and with a few overnight buses, and this hostel was the perfect place to decompress and rest, the beds in particular were heaven. Saori has herself backpacked around the world and knows exactly what a good hostel needs, I felt in safe hands for my entire visit. The hostel sits directly opposite the start of one of Mt Fuji’s most popular mountain trails, and a beautiful shrine that Saori herself showed me around, so it is especially perfect if you’re coming to Fujiyoshida for a bit of hiking. The hostel also boasts a traditional Japanese style and it was by far the most interesting and beautiful hostel I stayed in during my time in Japan. Saori, thank you so much again and it was such an honour to help you start this wonderful journey you’re just embarking on, starting your own hostel! I wish you all the best of luck.

The owner of the hostel is amazing and super knowledgeable about the area. Came as a solo traveller and he gave me a list of 6-8 different things to do during my one full day here. He also picks you up and drops you off to the station which is super helpful.

The design was fantastic. Whilst we had bunk beds there was so much more room for luggage and table/chairs. The bathrooms whilst shared were fantastic and the showers were self contained. Says it’s a hostel but we would stay in this again over the hotels we have been staying in.

The hostel was just beautiful! Extremely clean, bright and the room was spacious. The whole time it smelled like fresh cooked bread which was also delicious. The bikes were a bit tired but got us around the lake safely. Not a hostel to meet other travellers just a cosy home stay. Letting us leave our luggage all day was also a great perk!

Great value for money. The room was big for one person, with two beds (I guest I would have preferred a double/queen bed). The beds are comfy and they provided foam earplugs. Great location in Fujiyoshima, just right on Honcho St. where you can see a great view of Fuji (on a clear day!) Shared bathrooms were clean. It was a very aesthetically pleasing hostel.

This is the best hostel I have stayed in. Very quiet, spotless clean, friendly owner, free snacks and bikes, good location and an awesome terasse on the roof with artificial grass and snuggly hammocks and chairs and a breathtaking view of Fuji

It has been one of the best hostels I’ve stayed. They really care about the guests and you can see it with the beds: a lot of space, curtains… Also it’s amazing to be able to see the Mount Fuji from almost every spot in the hostel. The kitchen has literally everything you need and it’s so clean. The common area is big and comfy also. I recommend it 100%!!!
