This 3-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Certain rooms at the property include a terrace with a mountain view. Very friendly and helpful staff! It was amazing to stay in a traditional Japanese thatched house (over 300 years old). The accommodation was warm and had a very cosy lounge area (with guitars and other instruments to play) and lots of cooking space. The location was also quite spectacular with views of the city at night and located next to a lake, park, and sports facilities. There is also a bus stop directly outside of the property. Definitely a must if you're planning to stay in Nanto.

Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The owner was incredible, he was the most amazing host I had ever at an hostel! The beds were quite comfy and if you need another pillow he’ll offer you one! The towels are multi time use when paying one time 100 yen throughout your entire stay, I was there for almost four days and it was fun! I cooked food at the kitchen and shared it with the host too, he absolutely loved it! If you’re an international traveler, make sure to stop here!

Rual Japan so a bit hard to get trains, but if you plan you’re set!
