I knew I was in for a good time when I arrived to check in and was offered a welcome drink and one of the controllers for mario party. The location is walkable from the station and the castle, and just by the san-yo line (the fastest way to miyajima). Will definitely be staying again if I come back this way.

You can feel that everything is organised in a way to accommodate the guests. (Maybe you could add a hanger next to mirror to hang the cosmetics bag?) Cute common space with guitar, ukulele, board games... Very nice staff speaking very good English. I was supposed to stay 1 night and extended my stay. Very good location, right next to the station. Great value for money.
