Forget about the shimanami kaido. Go to yugeshima, ride the loop there and do the yumeshima kaido and disappear into a real life ghibli movie. These 4 connected islands are absolutely stunning and so serene and quiet they dont even have traffic lights. The people are so kind, the views are breathtaking, and you are virtually the only tourist! This is a very rare experience. Yasu san is a great host, he helped us get the most out of the short time we had on the islands and he’s just overall a very nice person. The guests were great to, good vibes all around.

Nice small well orgznized ryokan with tatami setup at the room. Nice quiet neighbourhood, with access to many nearby groceries like Lamu which operate 24hrs, and many other restaurants. Closer to the harbor seaside with short walking distance. The owner is really a nice lady which provided us lots of guidance to explore the nearby attraction places. Will certainly visit this place for a longer period in the near future!
