This is a beautiful traditional Japanese guest house on the island of Yuge. We spent a night here while biking the Shimanami Kaido trail. Yas, our host, was super kind and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. Nice shower. Towels can be rented for 100 yen and laundry machine use for 100 yen as well. Very comfortable tatami beds. Close to a very good izakaya restaurant for dinner as well!

The bed was very soft. But it wasn't a good choice for my neck. I prefer a sturdy mattress. I'm not complaining; it just didn't work out well for me. The room had enough space to keep our backpacks and to walk. It wasn't too narrow, and there was enough space to walk without getting bumped into anything.

Tottori Airport is 21 km away. The place is a beautiful kept traditional Japanese wooden house. I loved the house and the location but the best part of the experience were the host family. I felt like I was visiting my family, I got to experience very traditional meals and great company. I hope to visit again!

We were close enough to everything and it was so easy to get around via the streetcars and buses if we wanted to go a little further out. The hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are cosy but well laid out so everything fits and can be accessed easily. The amenities are super useful and clean and the staff were amazing. All-in-all, a perfect stay.
