The hostel is just around 500m from the Petra Visitor Center, making it very convenient and easily accessible for anyone planning to visit Petra. A special mention to Hussain, who arranged our Wadi Rum stay from Petra. It was an amazing desert experience with high comfort, great hospitality, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jordan!

The atmosphere is friendly and social, with great communal areas and a beautiful rooftop where you can enjoy amazing sunset views. lunch box was fresh and tasty every morning, and everything felt well cared for. Rafeki Hostel combines the comfort of a hotel with the heart of a home — I couldn’t recommend it more!

All rooms will provide guests with an oven. Staying with Firas was truly the highlight of our trip—he is, without a doubt, the most generous, hospitable, and kind-hearted host we’ve ever encountered. He didn’t just open his home to us; he opened his heart, making us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Thanks to Firas, our time in Jordan was unforgettable. While there may be many places to stay, you won’t find another host like him. I wholeheartedly recommend Firas to anyone visiting—he is one of a kind.
