He went out of his way to help and made us feel very welcome and this definitely added an extra element to our trip. We were in Dalvik to ski tour and the hostel was perfectly situated for that purpose. It was within walking distance from the supermarket and the excellent Cafe Gisli. The other people in the hostel were also great and we got to know them all quite well during the week. Dalvik is just beautiful and getting up in the morning and going into the kitchen and being greeted with an incredible view across the Fjord was something else! We will definitely be back.
