Besides it is a cool experience, hostel has very good and pretty and clean and spacious common areas, it is all very well organized and with many bathrooms, super comfortable stay. Definetly recomending to everyone even if you do not like hostels, this is really cool. I love those capsules but also overall the whole area is so pretty, comfortable and great location also. I wish to introduce it to my friends and I always recommend to my fellow travellers.

Akureyri Golf Club is 5 km from the hostel. Hlidarfjall Ski Centre is within 10 minutes’ drive. Discounts are available for guests with certain restaurants and activities such as whale watching. Amazing little "hostel", with a far higher standard than most! Nice kitchen, cozy spaces, beautfiful bathrooms.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and luggage storage for guests. Location is perfect..very close from the bus drop off and right in front of ferry stop to grimsey. Opposite a busy restaurant .the toiletries were of excellent quality and brand..was actually surprised

All units at the hostel are equipped with a shared bathroom equipped with a shower. One of the best mountain cabins I´ve ever been – mind that it’s a Icelandic cabin (almost hostel) and not a hotel, so you must adjust your expectations accordingly. It has a spacious dining room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 showers, 3 toilets and all was super clean thanks to the great staff (I hope Karolina repeats next year). It can of course get busy when it’s full, but much better than the ones I stayed around. A nice plus that you can rent bedding if you don’t have a sleeping bag.
