Very clean and spacious room, the guesthouse has also a living room/kitchen area with nice view. The kitchen is well equipped and we even had a coffee from a machine, enjoying our morning on the terrace. The staff - owners that we met are very friendly and open.

The place is near to the famous Geysir hotspring. And there is a camp site with a nice restaurant very close by. We had dinner there, and it was delicious. The next morning we enjoyed a wonderful horse riding. Lovely experience.

There is a snowy mountain view on one side, and a gorgeous lake on the other side of the hotel. There is a thermal spa a short walk from it, and the facility is very practical, warm and clean.

The rooms are basic but very comfortable. The best part of this hotel is its location, which is very close to several must-see spots in this area of Iceland. I was also very lucky because, being in a rural area, I could see the Northern Lights from the hotel. Another strength of the hostel is its staff. They are very friendly and welcoming.
