In the coffee are very often interesting guests from all over the country as singers etc. The food both in the coffee and in the hostel is very tasty. I can  lovely recommend the hostel to everyone.

The dogs make the atmosphere even more cozy. They are vaccinated.

Also very knowledgeable about trains and busses for onward journey as well as local sites. Whilst we were told it is a party hostel everyone staying there was nice and very friendly even though we are now getting on a bit. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend to all.

The host and the staff ( Lawrence especially)were friendly and helpful. Also, the food was organic and delicious. Big thanks to the chef! I stayed alone for 11 days and it was quite safe.

Bike hire and car hire are available at this hostel and the area is popular for cycling. I could see the dim outline of Kanchenjunga, not the clear view because it was hazy. Personally it was still good. Anyway April was not the right time to see the clear view. Michilero(backpacker in Spanish) Ostello(hostel in Italian) was a great place to stay in Pelling. Everything - home made food, family atmosphere  - was perfect. And Wake in Himalayas, the hostel next to Mochilero Ostello, was also a nice place run by warm hearted family.
