Well equipped AC room and comfortable bed. Overall the hostel was very clean and tidy. The personnel were friendly and very helpful. The location of the hostel is central with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. I would def come back and I strongly recommend it.

Greta location. On a busy street but also all the shops you need are walking distance. The main beach is only 10 min walk away. The air con room was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was very clean and I cooked my own food. Staff were great. Very friendly and helpful discussing travel options and trains to head south.

Loved that the host and staff were very accommodating. Any request I had was graciously met. Hanging out at the rooftop lounge and playing party games became a nightly ritual that I loved. Can easily access rental scooties at reasonable rates. BYOB is a good rule they have here. 24/7 access to facilities was amazing and the hostel is very well maintained. Loved it!

We really liked the vibe of the entire property & staff - they were very cooperative and accommodating of all our requests, would like to specially mention Kandhan and thank him for his selfless service to make our stay an extremely memorable experience by taking us to early morning cycle ride to Auroville forest (Infact, I learnt to ride a bike because of him), making us feel the village culture by showing us various plantations, showing us the area around and being extremely helpful + humble + generous in this entire time even while providing us scooty services as he was constantly checking if we are facing any issues with regards to that alongside helping us plan our days. Food at Zostel cafe was very fresh, healthy & tasteful. They have good variety of things available in the menu and the cafe looked extremely aesthetic as well as soothing. Also, the prices were reasonable. Overall, our experience was really good and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry. :)
