I'm so glad I chose this home stay for my trip in Srinagar. It was such a lovely stay. The host and his family were extremely hospitable, helped us to arrange everything and treated us exceptionally nice. I absolutely loved my stay, will definitely recommend this place and would surely recommend all my friends to stay there too.

Our stay there was nothing short of amazing, and much of the credit goes to the incredible hospitality of John Uncle and his son, Ali. From the moment we arrived, John Uncle’s warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. Ali, his son, is equally amazing. He’s also an expert when it comes to planning tours across Jammu & Kashmir. He took the time to help us craft an itinerary that balanced famous spots with hidden gems, ensuring we could experience the true essence of the region on our next trip and the current one was on a no plan basis. He also provides a bike rental service (a great way to explore Srinagar and beyond!). Their genuine care and effort in making our trip memorable stood out throughout. From thoughtful recommendations on must-visit places to helping us with logistics, they truly made us feel like family. The hosts are warm and responsive. They are fairly receptive and are constantly upgrading their facilities on the basis of feedback and otherwise. The manager/caretaker Bhupinder uncle is a delightful person, helpful and reasonably flexible. They offer help in navigation to the hostel and elsewhere if the need be. There's a budget restaurant right there. The spacious lounge area and garden adds to the experience. Kudos to Ashish (owner) for conceiving and knitting it all together. All in all, it's a pleasant experience worth revisiting.

It felt like home from the moment I arrived. I had only planned to stay for a night, but I ended up extending my stay because it was so wonderful. As a solo traveler, I’ve had my share of not-so-great experiences, but this was the exact opposite. Bashrat and Monika were the sweetest hosts you could ask for. Khursheed bhai, Faizan bhai, and everyone else were always there to help with anything I needed. And Danish bhai’s food? Incredible—he makes the best poha! I also got to meet some amazing people and build great connections. The view from the hostel is stunning, too. Everything about this place was just perfect!

The view was incredible (both the mountain range on one side and the dal Lake on the other), the food was good for a decent price, the staff were all very helpful, especially Irfan - who was attentive to the guests needs and generally a very sweet human being!
