The place exceeded my expectations. All amenities and facilities were exactly as described, and everything was spotlessly clean. It was very quiet throughout the day and night, with excellent insulation from both the weather and outside noise. On top of that, the hospitality was outstanding, as the host was always easy to reach and genuinely went out of his way to help with anything we needed.
Salthill, Galway
The Nest Boutique Hostel offers a majority of double and twin ensuite rooms which have comfy beds, soft linen, power showers, fridges and contemporary Irish art work. Family bedrooms and dormitories are also available Good location. Just in front of the bus station, beach walking area at the back, small local supermarket nearby, cafe and bakery, restaurant nearby. The hostel has a fully equipped kitchen, I enjoyed buying local foods, cooked there, talked with other guests. The room had a huge handicapped bathroom, and I heard that the hostel used to be a care home. I really enjoyed Galway, want to come back again!!

Guests can choose from a range of private rooms and shared dorms, all designed for comfort and convenience. The hostel offers a spacious common area with a pool table and TV, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, and a bright dining room.
Everything. My first ever stay in a hostel so I was a bit weary. If all hostels are like this, their reputation would be very different. I was very kindly greeted and registered at the desk, the staff were exceptionally nice (and I'd had a bad day so it was extra appreciated), it was clean, they served breakfast and the communal spaces are pretty cool. The rooms came with an ensuite toilet and bathroom. Would recommend 100%.

Lovely place, in the center of Galway, close to supermarkets as well if you want to cook something yourself. Very nice staff as well. Oh and quiet too! According to the reception lots of students stay there while looking for accommodation so also another reason why it's quiet. They offer activities like Pub Crawl as well.

It’s a great location and the best hostel I’ve stayed in for a while. The room was pretty good and the breakfast provided and the kitchen facilities were great. The staff were amazing as always and very accommodating and kind.
Great location, lovely and clean, beds were comfy, the check in staff were very welcoming, would highly recommend this hostel. I travelled on my own and felt very safe
Beautiful remote quiet location and clean modern facilities. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at and fabulous value for money. Only downside was that noise could be heard so easily from adjoining rooms 🤭 plus the bunk bed mattresses, whilst fine for kids, had hard springs for a teenager but the staff kindly provided a mattress from a fold out bed as a topper. Whilst overall the staff weren’t very friendly, they were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities and comfortable rooms. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.
The best value for money - hostel I have been in Ireland : really cheap, overall god quality of facilities, quick check-in : check-out and perfect location ! Highly recommended for small budget travellers !
