Arif is the most genuine and helpful person we have met in Indonesia, and he's surely the coolest guy on Nias! The location is perfect and the host extremely friendly and helpful. The place is clean and relatively comfortable--remember it is a hostel, not a hotel, so be prepared for sharing the space. I stayed at a different hostel in Medan before coming to Dazhong and it could not compare to this. You will meet fellow travelers here, the atmosphere is very friendly, and you will get all the information and help you need to travel in Sumatra.
