I loved this little hostel in Banyuwangi, it was spotlessly clean, very quiet, the beds were so comfortable, the showers were amazing, the family who own the hostel live next door and are such kind helpful people. The free breakfast included is so delicious, way better than a lot of the free breakfasts other hostels include. This is the perfect spot to stay in Banyuwangi if you want to explore the surrounding area. I did the Ijen tour through the hostel and ended up doing it with a small group and a really great guide so would 100% recommend.

The room and bathrooms were very clean. Everyone at the reception was very kind, and we even got iced tea as a welcome drink. When I communicated with the hostel beforehand, they recommended companies that arrange transport from the airport to Malang, and I’m very thankful for that.

The guys who run the hostel treated us like family from the minute we got there. Our daughter spent hours playing with the kids that live in the associated living quarters. They invited us to dine with them and the food was delicious!! Apart from that, the room was super cosy, the wifi was great, the showers were hot and the banana pancakes were unreal! A stay here is money well spent. Make sure to leave a donation!

What a find! This hostel was spot on for a quick overnight stay before hitting the Bromo/Ijen tour. The staff went above and beyond, giving me tons of great info on everything (like catching a ride from Surabaya airport and nearby dining spots). Best of all, they had a "breakfast" ready at midnight before my early morning hike pickup! Highly impressed!

All the staff were lovely, and really helpful. They organised my Bromo trip the day I arrived and I had a great time with my small tour group. Would definitely recommend staying here!
