It's quite spacious and in a decent location (20-30 minutes walk from the center), with easy parking. Amazing for its price

Matala Hostel features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Matala. The property is around less than 1 km from Matala beach, 11 km from Phaistos and 14 km from Museum of Cretan Ethnology. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, a concierge service and organising tours for guests. I really loved this hostel. It has a good wibe to it, location is perfect not to far from the beach and cafes/restaurants in Matala. Very friendly volunteers. Big and well equipped kitchen, nice and social common areas with a bar. Big bonus with the pool outside. I had a wonderful time, and ended up extending my stay every morning for a week.
