It was so well done, with beautiful views, and a structure to match. Everything was so well thought out and tastefully done to create such a great vibe and energy—a testament to the owner(s), who put genuine love and care into all aspects of this wonderful place! Even the whimsical touches of a kid goat and bathroom art were note-perfect! They even put on a delicious communal meal followed by a great merengue class, with some really cool people in attendance. If I didn’t love riding bikes to new places so much it’s the kind of place I would’ve been happy to end my vacation in.

At the hostel all rooms are fitted with air conditioning and a shared bathroom. What can I say? Leisy's Garden is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. If you are looking for a calm break in otherwise busy Dominican Republic this is the place for you. Everything was super clean, all small details were well thought (curtains in dorm beds, huge lockers, very good wifi) and the staff was just amazing! The dorm room is so spacious and the bed was new and comfortable. The small breakfast is a nice bonus and a good way to start the day. For me it was the perfect stay and I only wish I could've stayed longer!

Garden was from paradise with loads of birds, butterflies and toads (at night). We were lucky as it was not busy when we were there so quiet outdoor kitchen and beautifully kept shared bathroom. You must try Teresa’s jerk pork a few yards down the road - she was great fun whenever we visited her - she might be the heart of Brighton Beach! We stayed in February 2025.
