Located around 1 km from Edinburgh Castle, the hostel with free WiFi is also 700 metres away from Edinburgh Waverley station. The property is 100 metres from the city centre and 400 metres from National Museum of Scotland. We were in a private room and it was very comfy. The staff is so nice and the bar is really a plus.

Super private beds with curtains and walls which made it really comfortable. Just 50 metres from Edinburgh’s bustling Princes Street, Haystack Hostel is set in a renovated 18th-century Georgian building. It offers (not 24h reception) with free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped shared kitchen. It was very clean and comfortable and spacious. I found it very easy to navigate considering it was my first time in a hostel alone. They give you a cubby for your things next to your bed and in the bed area there is a light and a charging port and a curtain! Everything you could possibly need!
