Benbecula Airport is 84 km away. We liked the view from our room and we liked the kitchen a lot! It was clean and easy to whip up some meals. It saved us a lot of money instead of eating out (and actually not sure where to eat out really...).

Fort William is 30 miles away. The room was clean and tidy. The hostel has a self-catering kitchen. The staff were professional and friendly as well. What's not to like about this place? It's very nearby to the Lochness cruise center as well.

The youth hostel provides a good range of facilities including dorms and private rooms, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, a spacious dining area, a large drying room and ample parking for cars and buses. There is also a large open-plan lounge which provides stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains and surrounding woodland. Very nice welcome and a special mention to the little fur angel! The hostel had everything you night need: very spacious kitchen and good lounge. The amenities offered were great (laundry and such). Very clean too. Highly reccomended

Urquart Castle is within 30 minutes’ drive of Inverness Youth Hostel. The 6-bed room for females had more than ample space for 6, with lockers and in-room sink; baths-toilets out of room. Great lighting at beds, over sink and ceiling. Great forest view from an opening window for ventilation. Spotless cleaning and efficiency throughout. Team spirit, throughout - no one seemed to be relegated to a specific task - all customer oriented. Great experience! Highly recommend, will if, in area, return again. Great self=use kitchen and dining area, including close to super-market, and bus station for local buses and distant buses. Highly recommend - all types of solo/group travelers!
