Perfect for my Stop-over. Just a 20 minute cycle to the city was perfect to see the fantastic Cathedral and wonderful architecture of all the old buildings.
The good lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful with any questions.

Everything was great, the apartment is spacious, 10 minutes easy walk to the train station, 10 minutes by city bus to Basel. Functional shared kitchen. Any agreement with the owner was possible.

The room with 6 beds was secured, clean, and spacious. The shared toilets were clean. People with me in the room were friendly and open to conversation. It is a suitable place not only for youth but for anyone who cares. I would happily come back.

The room was clean, the area was quiet and one could sleep comfortably. It was also easy to get to Basel the next day. I arrived the Location very late, but it was pretty easy to get in and find my room

Location was great, close to both the train station and the old town. The price, compared to all the hotels around it, was much more reasonable, though still expensive for a hostel. The lobby, hallways, rooms and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The female 4-person dorm room had its own bathroom. There was staff in the lobby 24/7, so I felt very safe as a solo traveller.
Traditional youth hostel with functional facilities and nice staff. Very close to tram stop with pub, Olympic swimming pool, small restaurant & shop nearby.
