Ideally located in the Deusto district of Bilbao, Bilbao Akelarre Hostel is located 1.5 km from San Mamés Stadium, less than 1 km from Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall and 3.4 km from Calatrava Bridge. I really enjoyed my stay at Akelarre! The staff went out of their way to help me and were incredibly accommodating. The hostel itself was really clean and quiet in a really nice area with only 3 metro stops from the center. Cute main area and overall the best hostel experience I've had so far in Spain.

In the kitchen, everyone was cleaning up after themselves. There were enough showers and toilets for the big 12 person room so we didn't have to wait in line, and the bathroom was nice and clean as well. There are a washing machine and a dryer you can use for 7 euros in case you need to wash your clothes. The staff is super friendly and helpful when you have questions.

The rooms were superb, much better than photos, super clean rooms, spacious, great bathroom and shower. Its next to the metro and was really easy to get anywhere in the short space of time, the metro is also super cheap.
