You can leave your car for 3 euros / 24h at the El Rincon parking behind Las Arenas shopping center and walk to Wave Temple with 15 minutes. Right next to the hostel is Spar with everything you might need. The apartment itself is very clean and cosy with plenty of seating and kitchen counter space. Very nicely decorated and it even had a desk for working. It didn't feel like staying in a shared room of a hostel, but rather like staying at a friend's place!

Filipo is a fantastic host. The place is spotlessly clean, and is a wonderful place to meet interesting fellow travellers. Note that there isn't a kitchen you can use but Filipo's food is excellent. You can give him stuff to put in the fridge if you need to. I stayed in a double room and put the heater on for 15 minutes to take the chill off- then slept like a baby! Well done Filipo, I look forward to seeing how La Casita develops!

Great hostel to start your island adventure! If you're arriving in Las Palmas, this is an ideal place to begin your trip. The location is super convenient—right in the heart of the old town and close to all the key spots in the city. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. The vibe at the hostel was welcoming and social, and I had the chance to meet some amazing fellow travellers from all over the world. The place was also very clean and felt safe throughout my stay. A big shout out to the staff—especially the manager, Margherita—for doing a great job keeping things running smoothly and genuinely caring about the guests’ well-being. Definitely recommended!
