I stayed at Anam for 5 nights, seemingly quite unusual as most of my dorm mates stayed only one night while on the Camino. All of them seemed so relieved to get to Anam, often exclaiming 'it's so nice here!' upon arrival. So, it seems like it's a great place to relax and have a bit of luxury while you're on the Camino. For my part, I had a great stay. Super comfortable, it was such a luxury every night to wrap up in the fluffy white duvet! Very clean, and great breakfast. The surroundings are beautiful and really peaceful. Nate manages to walk that fine line of being helpful and friendly, but also leaving you to your own devices if it seems that's what you want.

All units at the accommodation are equipped with a seating area. Very gracious host at check in - great reception, and she explained everything well. The albergue accommodation was very clean and well organized. We did not feel crowded. Spacious outdoor seating as well. Location was perfect for access to the Camino - right outside the property. Dinner and breakfast options were good.

All rooms in the hostel are fitted with a flat-screen TV. I stayed here for a few days to relax after walking the Camino de Santiago and it was one of the best decisions of the trip. The hostel itself is beautifully decorated and comfy, with lots of nice spaces to relax. It's a 5 minute walk to the supermarket and about 10 minutes walking from the beach (you can borrow a bike if you want). I didn't take any surf lessons, but was able to get a ride with the others to a beach nearby. There are also a few nice hikes available in the area, that take you from beach to beach. Finally, the food was great! Breakfast was better than any hostel I have stayed in, and I loved the homecooked dinners. Bea made me feel very welcome, and I will definitely come back to this place!
