Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant as well as a bar, Coeo Hernan Ruiz Rooftop Pool Hostel is situated in the centre of Málaga, 1.6 km from La Malagueta Beach. Located around 400 metres from Picasso Museum Málaga, the hostel with free WiFi is also 700 metres away from Jorge Rando Museum. The property is non-smoking and is located 400 metres from Museum of Glass and Crystal. This was the first time for me & my friend to stay in a hostel & we where not disappointed. We had a dbl room (4 single beds) own bathroom on the top floor, lift to the 2nd floor then flight of stairs to the room. The room was spotlessly clean, towels & linen where included for the price we payed, beds & pillows very comfy, soap, showergel provided in bathroom as well as a hair dryer. TV in each room. The hostel has 24/7 reception & the staff where very polite, friendly & helpful on places to eat & directions. The coffee shop at the hostel was great value for money, nice coffee, breakfast, eve meal & the staff very friendly. The roof top pool while small is nice (to cold to go in as we where there in Dec) but tables & chairs to sit at & chat to other guests. There's also a small kitchen up there you can use fridges to put your food in, cooking utensils, air fryer, kettle etc which would be handy for people. You can also leave your luggage if you've a late flight etc all it costs is €3, great value. The location of the hostel is very central, short walk to cathedral, Picasso museum, port, restaurants, bars, supermarkets & retail shops. We thought this hostel was a gem & would definitely stay here again. The 3 nights 2 days we where there was great value for what was on the premises plus the friendliness of all staff members.

Situated in Granada, within 500 metres of Granada Cathedral and 400 metres of San Juan de Dios Museum, Oripando Hostel features accommodation with a garden and a shared lounge, and free WiFi. The staff were lovely, the hostel was lovely, the location was great (in the Albaicín neighborhood) - all fantastic :D Also: it's one of those hostels that is more community and art/music based, with more of a hippie-ish vibe.

Micaela Charming Hostal is 100 metres from the beach in Torremolinos. Set in the traditional fishing district of El Bajondillo, the Micaela offers a garden patio, and free WiFi zone.

The staff, particularly Christina (?), was very accommodating. I had fractured my arm Nov 1 & was/am still recovering. Christina went above the call of duty with her attentiveness. Definitely a top ratino for the Funker Hostel!
