The dorms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Each bed had its own power socket, light, and regular sized locker for bags. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, big shoutout to Jimmy and Hassan for making my stay amazing by going with me to the market, showing me around, helping me with tours, and even getting me a last-minute bus ticket. They were easy to chat and hang out with. I had a great stay I’ll always remember. Thanks guys!

Seko is a kind helper, he could solve all questions you have in Aswen. The hostel is clean and quiet. Totally experienced the locals:) if you would like to have the hot shower, you will have it. But make sure you have the hairdryer with you before you shampoo your hair( because the weather is dry there, so local people don’t use the hairdryer mostly) moreover, this hometown will shout down the water in the late night. For me, no any bothering. They have the water again around 6 or 7 am around. 如果你要一個安靜，然後充滿地方色彩的一個小鎮，這兒就是。 雖然沒有柏油路，但是充滿著滿滿的溫馨！ 記住你上船地方，不能從肯德基那個港口到象島，因為到象島，有兩個港口，不能從KFC的港口。 如從KFC港口坐到這來下船的地方，走到他們的住宿將近要40分鐘，因為我就是那個坐錯公共船的人。 雖然Seko派了人，來幫我搬運了所有的行李，因為平常不習慣運動，還是走了很久，一大早或晚上從陽台可以感受到這邊的寧靜，你可以感覺到自己跟自己對話，我是挺喜歡這個感覺！的這個小島值得來:) 然後如果你喜歡每天洗頭，然後也習慣用吹風機的，得自己帶，因為當地的人用毛巾擦一擦很快就乾了。

Very beautiful place, well taken care of, with colorful paintings on the walls, Nubian style. The owners were very kind and welcoming. They helped us with the trip to Abu Simbel and with transfers. They welcomed us with a cup of mint tea, which they grow themselves. The breakfast they prepared was delicious and very big. Amazing quality for good price. Strongly recommend!
