Beginning with a low price and ending with a cozy room furnished in an old-fahioned style, both the room and kitchen area were cute and originally decorated. The kitchen even had coffee available, great Finnish coffee at that.

The hostel features family rooms. Wonderful location near the bus station and a short walk to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was pleasant.

Even though I had booked a smaller room, the host graciously showed me several room options upon arrival and let me choose the one I preferred. They had already started a fire in the wood-burning stove of the larger room to make sure it would be warm and welcoming - a small gesture that made a big difference. The atmosphere was calm and genuine, and our brief conversation was warm without being overbearing. It’s clear that the host cares not just about running a place to sleep, but about making guests feel looked after. A simple, beautiful place with thoughtful hospitality, highly recommended.
