Thanks to the perfect information provision, it doesn't matter at all that the reception is only staffed during limited hours; self-check-in and check-out are completely hassle-free. The gentleman at the reception was very nice, and although we only met him briefly, he left a great impression. There is a shared kitchen with limited electricity availability (schedule posted). Luggage storage after check-out is no problem. The location of the hostel is excellent, right in the center of Füssen, yet close to the train station. We were thrilled with our stay here and very satisfied.

Set within the medieval city walls of Füssen, the Old Kings Design Hostel offers individually themed rooms. The modern hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station and free WiFi is provided. The hostel is located in a townhouse between the city hall and the Franciscan monastery. Place is super clean and pretty. Only downside is the beds dont have a courtain to give privacy and the shower doors are almost transparent so no privacy either while showering. Everything else was excellent, very comfortable, very clean, perfect location.
