Wonderful stay. Stayed with a 1 year old and 5 year old so was a bit on edge and being a worrier I didn't know how they would be with us. However, were super friendly and the lady who greeted us helped us with a map and showed us the best places to go with young children. We were then left to do our own thing. Would defo recommend this hostel as its great value for money :)

I got upgraded, free of charge, to a private room (after having booked a bed in a mixed dorm). The room was lovely, hotel-like, both check-in and checkout were smooth, and the cleaning lady as well as the receptionist, Alex, were friendly.

Even tho it is an older building and it main purpose is to accommodate workers from Temelin. It was newly renovated - beds were comfy and everything was clean. Their staff was super nice and heartwarmingly welcomed us. Immediately upon our arrival she offered to give us the wifi password and wanted to recommend places to go to.

On our way back from Vienna to Germany, we randomly picked a location to stop for the night, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. We arrived quite late, well past the check-in time, and were initially worried about whether we'd be able to check in. To our relief, the host waited for us and gave us a warm, welcoming reception. His kindness and hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. As for the location, it left us speechless. The night sky was absolutely stunning, filled with stars, and the entire area was incredibly peaceful. Waking up to the breathtaking sunrise in the morning was an unforgettable experience. The location also offers numerous activities for visitors, including scenic cycling routes. And then there was the lake— it had the feel of a beach getaway. The room we stayed in was spotless, providing a cozy atmosphere for a restful night. Though the bathrooms were shared, they were well-maintained, and hot water was readily available for bathing. Breakfast was available on request, which was a nice touch to start the day. Overall, it was an amazing stay and we couldn't have been more satisfied.
