The owner is very friendly, thoughtful, and caring. In my case he even went out of his way (since I had two large suitecases, a backpack, and a couple shopping bags from in between moves locally) to store my stuff and bump me up to an open double bed with two lockers. The two lockers also helped me store my quiet juicer so I could juice quietly in the kithen while others were asleep in the next room. The volunteers and guests all seemed happy with the accomodations, and everyone got along well, partly due to the environment created by our host. Thank you so much, Sander.

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Dos Brazos, like hiking. I came as a guest and decided to stay as a volunteer. I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

Complete with a shared bathroom, the rooms at The Cafecito Surfhouse - Santa Teresa are fitted with air conditioning, and certain rooms are fitted with a seating area. All units will provide guests with a fridge. Super cosy and great atmosphere! You feel like you are staying at a friends house and I love that! Chelsea and Lenin are awesome and so heartwarming! I will definitely be back some day! I can also really recommend Lenin as a surf instructor! He reads his students perfectly and you feel super safe with him! He takes you different places in Santa Teresa and get to experience different kinds of waves and have fun!

Perfect stay! Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Monteverde Ecological Sanctuary is an 8-minute walk from Hostel Cattleya - Monteverde, Costa. The nearest airport is Tambor Airport, 67 km from the property. Hot showers, equipped kitchen, cool/clean/comfortable rooms, and all for an excellent price. What more could you want?! The hostel is also super helpful with booking tours or transfers. Would 100% recommend staying here!

They had lots of tour info and spoke English, so communicating was easy. Always kept very clean. Loved that there was a restaurant/bar. Breakfast was great, loved the nachos. Probably our favorite place so far! And we will definitely recommend!

The staff is very positive and helpful to any information needed. There is being offered coffee and tea for free at any time. It really feels you don't want to leave this place. I already extended my stay here 😌
