The owner is very friendly, thoughtful, and caring. In my case he even went out of his way (since I had two large suitecases, a backpack, and a couple shopping bags from in between moves locally) to store my stuff and bump me up to an open double bed with two lockers. The two lockers also helped me store my quiet juicer so I could juice quietly in the kithen while others were asleep in the next room. The volunteers and guests all seemed happy with the accomodations, and everyone got along well, partly due to the environment created by our host. Thank you so much, Sander.

The staff is very nice. The location is excellent.

Located in Pavones, 500 metres from Playa Pavones, Hostel Esperanza provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel is new, has a perfect size and is very familiar. The kitchen is good equipped, the beds are comfortable and the cleaning staff does a great job. You get a towel and there are hot water showers available. The hostel is near the beach and you can rent surfboards for a very good price. There are still some projects Charlie wanna realize during the next months, as for a example a cozy community area. It will be an even better place in a while. Other lovely aspects are the volunteers, Charlie (dog), Miley (cat) and last but not least: Charlie (owner).

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Dos Brazos, like hiking. I came as a guest and decided to stay as a volunteer. I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

Super lovely staff, clean and comfortable rooms, a very nice pool, free yoga classes with super experienced teacher and it’s next to the sea. Just awesome!

The units in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. Complete with a shared bathroom, the rooms at The Cafecito Surfhouse - Santa Teresa are fitted with air conditioning, and certain rooms are fitted with a seating area. All units will provide guests with a fridge. Chelsea is a very nice, helpful & caring host. Her friend Lenin is a very patient , good & funny surf instructor ! Very good vibes in this Hostel. Community Kitchen with all the items you need to cook or make coffee in the morning. Highly recommend the place. It’s like being roommates - almost friends - not guests. We had a lot of good talks there! Feels soo cozy within this hostel family

Perfect stay! Great location in the middle of nature. Nothing fancy, just connection to Costa Rica beautiful nature ! Comfy beds, everything you need, waking up with birds in the middle of the garden. Heyner’s family is so nice, his wife is cooking a great breakfast and dinner. They booked the mangrove trip which was amazing and we had horseback riding with Heyner. It was a great experience . We will definitely come back!!

Located in Manuel Antonio, on the way to the beach (1.5 km from the town of Quepos). Hostel Plinio offers an outdoor pool, shared kitchen, lounge areas, game room, restaurant and free WiFi.

Dorms, private rooms with shared bathroom and family rooms at the Hostel have a balcony with ocean views. Everything was perfect. We stayed at the studio and it was in perfect condition. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast was good, you can choose among 3-4 options. Great location: close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park.
