It was clean and brand new with big lockers, AC and a big fan with toilets and bathrooms inside each room and a beautiful balcony over the patio where you have many animals coming every day like monkeys and macaws! The people working there are the best 💚 It also has a restaurant and bar with a dock that’s amazing to watch sunset. I honestly could live there it was so green, clean, beautiful and new.

The Cabinas are in a big garden with a lot of wild animals walking by every now and then. It's far enough away from the restaurant, so you won't hear a thing. Staff is very nice and helpful.

It is perfectly aligned with the vibe of Tortuguero. The location is right next to the beach. Rooms are big. No AC but a fan was enough for us. The shower was really large, it could easily fit two people. WiFi was working fine. The hostel also has lots of plants and places to chill out outside of the room. They help organize the tours in Tortuguero as well.

The location is dreamy, right on the water, and the individual cabins alongside charming common areas provide a great mix of personal space and chances to socialise. Travelers are in good hands with this very kind host.

The perfect spot to relax. The beach was only steps away. Excellent restaurant right on site. There is a grocery store about 1 km away. Shared kitchen had everything you would need to cook. The staff were so friendly and knowledgable.

The location is far from Puerto Viejo, of course, but the beach is close (ten minutes by walk), and just a bit further there are three supermarkets and a pharmacy (and you'll find yourself in the main road, pretty easy to do anything). Then, you're staying in a very nice jungle spot. The facilities are great, good kitchen, big rooms (with lockers and plugins). All very clean (you can see how the volunteers are making an effort, they're really great: all the staff is very friendly and helpful). Good common areas with a fantastic atmosphere, very social and easygoing (I would dare say you can actually feel at home: your home in the jungle). Highly recommended :)
