This hostel surprised us! We are used to many different hostels, and this one was one of the best we have stayed in. There were many different types of common areas and gardens, even though its in the middle of town. A great shared kitchen, and comfortable rooms and hot showers. You could choose to be social or not. The staff was extremely kind - shout out Louis! The location was great for exploring San Gil, and for close walking distance to grocery stores, the local bus terminal that takes you to Barichara, etc. And surprisingly, the breakfast (which does cost extra) looks and tastes as good as it looks in the photos (which is unusual haha).

One of the best hostels I stayed in over 6 months of travel. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. There is so much to experience in the area and they will help you with everything. The hostel is really social with nightly activities, but also quiet and relaxed. There is a gorgeous garden, hammocks, pool/hot tub, nice kitchen, free coffee, and hot showers. I extended my stay multiple times.

Nice place to stay a couple of days. It's a quiet place, surrounding by nature. We met a friendly dog and cat. The owner was not present but managed to provide what was needed for a good stance.

Small hostel compared to the one in San Gil. Some services like breakfast are the same, but this one lacks a pool and bar. The kitchen, however, is open to guests unlike in San Gil. The room was much bigger and offered storage space for my clothes etc. Very clean. Wifi was fast and generally reliable. It would drop for a few seconds on occasion, but very likely a problem with the service provider being in a small and rather remote town, rather than the hostel. Run by a very nice and helpful family on behalf of the owner.
