Plenty of attention to details to make anyone's stay just wonderful (eg the homemade bread is the best I've had in South America and the coffee too!) super clean: bed, bathroom, hosts super super helpful and friendly. Can't ask for more, really! I am definitely taking time off from travel to go back and chill !

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Barichara, like hiking. I love Nacuma; it's tranquil, comfortable and well equipped. I was going to stay only a few days but ended up lingering for two and a half weeks! And it was one of the places I was truly sad to leave. It felt like home! The hosts, Camilo and Maria are absolutely lovely. They are accessible but also respect privacy and let you do your thing. Camilo has also been super helpful with tips on what to to in Barichara as well as other spots in Colombia. Natalia, the house keeper is super friendly and a lovely person to be around. I hope to return soon. Just book it! I booked the room with the garden view - 100% recommend! It was also the most peaceful rest I've had in Colombia. Oh, and the showers and bathrooms are super clean and ver close to the room so it being shared is no issue. The kitchen was also equipped for all my needs and always clean.

The pod-style bed was insanely comfortable, the room and bathrooms were always clean. The breakfast is basic (eggs and bread) but I loved the fresh juices and fruits. The staff is soo lovely and helpful.

One of the best hostels I stayed in over 6 months of travel. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming. There is so much to experience in the area and they will help you with everything. The hostel is really social with nightly activities, but also quiet and relaxed. There is a gorgeous garden, hammocks, pool/hot tub, nice kitchen, free coffee, and hot showers. I extended my stay multiple times.

Beautiful property that has preserved architecture from colonial period and a touch of modernity (like the pool and well equipped communal kitchen). The walls of this hostel, like traditional houses of Barichara, are made with rocks and mud which keep the rooms cool during hot and dry days. Best price for a dorm bed compared to other hostel of this town!
