Palonegro International Airport is 127 km away. If a hostel could be perfect then this would be the one. This is a lovely peaceful oasis near the scenic town of Barichara. Great food prepared by Flo, with an attentive demeanour towards guests. It was the best three nights to relax and experience the nature of Colombia without being eaten by mosquitoes. Once you get settled you can take the regional bus into the town and back. Or just stay put and go for some walks around the property. There is Starlink internet if you need to do some work and I loved the outdoor shower. I will return as soon as I can!

This hostel surprised us! We are used to many different hostels, and this one was one of the best we have stayed in. There were many different types of common areas and gardens, even though its in the middle of town. A great shared kitchen, and comfortable rooms and hot showers. You could choose to be social or not. The staff was extremely kind - shout out Louis! The location was great for exploring San Gil, and for close walking distance to grocery stores, the local bus terminal that takes you to Barichara, etc. And surprisingly, the breakfast (which does cost extra) looks and tastes as good as it looks in the photos (which is unusual haha).

I was happy in the large, comfortable 8-bed dorm. Hot showers.

Palonegro International Airport is 120 km from the property. We arrived early in the hostel ( around 9) we had a long nightbus and were very tired, the owner invited us to relax in the hamacs. A half houre later he told us he had a room free for us to sleep a bit, even when the check in was at 14h. He even gave us an upgraded room. This was excepcional. The hostel was soo beautifull full with exotic plants and orange tree. We could relax in the pool. The village was extraordinarly beautiful. Some say the most beautifull in Colombia, the experience was perfect. Thank you to Tinto hostal and its staff.

All rooms at the hostel are fitted with a TV with cable channels, a kitchenette and a dining area. Nice place to stay a couple of days. It's a quiet place, surrounding by nature. We met a friendly dog and cat. The owner was not present but managed to provide what was needed for a good stance.

The rooms at the hostel are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. Stayed in the Trip Hostel in San Gil, and like that one, was very happy with my stay. Small hostel compared to the one in San Gil. Some services like breakfast are the same, but this one lacks a pool and bar. The kitchen, however, is open to guests unlike in San Gil. The room was much bigger and offered storage space for my clothes etc. Very clean. Wifi was fast and generally reliable. It would drop for a few seconds on occasion, but very likely a problem with the service provider being in a small and rather remote town, rather than the hostel. Run by a very nice and helpful family on behalf of the owner.
