No full swimming in the beach but can wade in and duck into to cool down if you are confident swimmer. Really lovely staff.

I LOVED this hostel, the beach was great without any waves, not a lot of people, very calm water. The breakfast was delish, the food and drinks sold at the bar were very good, a bit pricey but not too bad. I will stay here everytime I visit Santa Marta. Do keep in mind that it's like 15/20 min drive to the center of Santa Marta, but taxis are cheap.

Awesome location to go diving or to get to tayron park, it's right in the historical centre of Santa Marta. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff did everything to accommodate our needs.
