What I liked the most it was the staff that it was really friendly and helpful they helped me all the time, and also, the breakfast was amazing.I will be back.

The hotel is in a beautiful place and the huts are lovely and comfortable. The staff where so lovely and helpful in every way. The person who cooked for us was really kind and a good cook.

Excellent stay in the wonderful property! Life (the main man was SO great! It really feels like a home you are invited to stay in :) I extended my stay and stayed for a week. To all the lovely people I met here, I will miss you lots! Gracias ☺️

We loved this place! The staff were so warm and ready to help with anything and everything! a really good breakfast and nice rooms. it’s a 10min walk out of the main centre so a lot quieter!

This place is a piece of heaven on earth. I left with a full heart. I came the 1st time in November 2024 and I fell in love with the place so I come back 2 months later and I fell in love even more. - Let's start with the view that is just incredible. You can sit there for hours and just look at the landscape. The mariage of vegetation and the lack makes the place looking as a painting. The entire place is peaceful and relaxing and you are only a short walk from town if you want more craziness and activities. - Lodges are in the middle of vegetation which give you the impression of being one with the nature. The decoration made the place very authentic. My room was very comfy and I have plenty of space. I got a mini fridge (perfect for snacks). My room has also a private terrace with a view on the lack with a table and a hammock (perfect to chill and relax). I was worried about the room temperature at night but I even did not need to open the window actually. - There is a private access to the lack, which is perfect for a swim during the hot hours of the day. They also offer activities as yoga, kayak, hiking, massage... You can not get bored. - The breakfast is very generous and good. You don't need another meal until late afternoon. - Lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. She made me feel very comfortable even if my Spanish was very limited. Always happy to answer my questions. - The last but not the least was my meeting with Maria the owner and the creator of the place. She made my stay unforgettable with a her warmth. She made me feel as a family member. We did a firecamp, went to San Rafael, I met her lovely family... Being a solo traveler Maria took care of me as a daughter (I even don't speak Spanish hahaha). She so inspiring, as a human, as a woman, as an artist and as a nature lover. Don't miss her during your stay if you want to meet someone special. Thank you Casa Encuentro for being my new

The property is located about a 20 mins walk from the main town of Guatape which was perfect for us. It felt like a retreat with amazingly calm surroundings. The facilities are perfect for a relaxing night in the hostel, socialising with other artists and travellers. This hostel has been the highlight of our Colombia trip so far. Would highly recommend. Kevin offered us an amazing bird watching and photography experience too for an additional price, but it was a lovely experience that other hostels do not offer.

I was so glad to get the chance to stay at Del Cielo. Tomas is an inspiring guy who is going to (and has done) amazing things for La Loma. The area feels like a home away from home, so incredibly safe, I got a bit lost one evening, and I was walked back to the hostel by locals. So kind. It's super easy to jump on the local buses and get to the metro, it's not far from all the places you want to go. Ubers learn something new everything time they go there, seeing it's a great place to live and stay and that people want to visit and stay in La Loma. The hostel itself is super friendly, and everyone is lovely. Lili, the kids, Tomas. When I was there, there was an empanada cooking class, and a barbecue where everyone got involved, and got to know each other. Lili gave me some salsa tips, and I learned about Call Me Mamá. What a great project. Each day I was there, there was a new piece of equipment added to the kitchen, a conscious effort to constantly improve. The View!!! Breathtaking, day and night!! Impossible to grow tired of. I think this hostel is going to grow in its success and popularity, and I wish it all the success possible. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOSTEL FOR AN AUTHENTIC Medellin experience. ❤️
