Friendly host and great location! Tim was of great help in organizing all local trips, tickets and even ordering the tax. Kind, smiling and helpful. I was so pleased that he helped me organize the trips to Zgangjijajie Park, Tianmen mountain and others. Super responsive on the phone, also whatsapp and helped even remotely when I was already in the mountains. The guesthouse is cozy, clean and with a nice vibe. I loved my room. It was spacious, simple, and comfortable. important that I can open the window and have some fresh air as well. There is plenty of local restaurants and shops around to get by with shopping for food, grocery or gifts. If I come back to Zhangjiajie I will stay again for sure!

Would give 11/10 if I could! Special thanks to Sonny and his wife who were lovely. The hostel was kind of empty due to off-season so I was upgraded to a private room free of charge. When I woke up late, I still got my breakfast and all the tickets were booked through by Sonny, super convenient! He also invited me to dinner one night, which was a great experience 😊

From the moment I arrived, I was struck by their genuine warmth and kindness. The reception team was not just efficient but truly welcoming, making me feel valued as a guest. When I asked on the reseption for directions to a attractions, and she not only provided a detailed map, boot me a tickets but also shared some personal tips and called ahead to check the opening hours. This level of thoughtful service is rare and deeply appreciated. It felt less like a standard hotel transaction and more like being a guest in a caring home. The team's proactive and sincere care was the highlight of my trip. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning. I arrived close to midnight and was given a private room instead of a bunk bed in a dorm, probably to not disturb others sleeping. The staff also provided an extension cable with the appropriate socket for my charger. The location was truly excellent, in the midst of the old town but on a side street, so not nousy as it can be with bars and singing thru late evening.
