I stayed 2 weeks in this well managed, quiet and intimate hostel in a prime Santiago location within close proximity to many desirable tourist friendly establishments such as quaint cafes, fine restaurants and small markets. There is also a bustling nightlife area with numerous bars and live music venues about a 10 minute walk away. Many of Santiago's tourist attractions including the historic centre of town are easily accessible on foot. I had a room with a spacious private bathroom and large comfortable bed. The water pressure was good and hot water was readily available. The hostel's wifi reception was good. It was quiet here at night and I got a good nights sleep throughout my stay. The hostel provided a complimentary hearty breakfast for guests and the kitchen facilities were well equipped and kept clean. The hostel staff and in particular the owner/manager Christian were all courteous, professional, accommodating and English speaking. The hostel includes a small coffee shop that sells delicious sandwiches, cakes and beverages. Guests of the hostel receive a 10% discount on purchases. This was a wonderful and welcoming place to stay for my 2 weeks in Santiago as a solo senior (65 yr old) traveller. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Santiago.

In a quiet neighborhood of Pudahuel, just 10 minutes from the airport, a different hostel awaits you, built with a traveling soul and Swiss chalet style. Here you don't just take a break: here you live an experience. The stay at this place was like a warm hug I desperately needed after a long travel and some bad luck. David is a super host. Him and his lady went beyond any typical hospitality. They offer free breakfast, toiletries, towels, and personally-tailored advice for trips. I chose to go to the San Cristobal hill in my limited time in Santiago. An excellent tip. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Two bathrooms seemed very sufficient. All their other guests were very quiet and the place itself is away from the noise of the city and just 12 min ride to the airport. Highly recommended whether for 1 night or more. I’m very grateful!

I love the Italiano neighborhood. It's super safe to walk around at night. The breakfast is huge and filling. I liked it so much I came back.
