Pua vaenga
Hanga Roa
All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, fridge, a kettle, a shower and a wardrobe. The hostel provides some units with sea views, and the rooms are fitted with a patio. All units will provide guests with a dishwasher. Hostal Pua Vaenga was a really surprise where we meet a so nice , warm and welcomed person Bernie who owns the place with Andres !! They were so worried to ensure we have a good time at the island, very useful advices. The property is well located 15min walk and cábañas are well equipped and very quiet .. we recommend this place and also the tour made by don Jorge !!! A really interesting guide and person!! An encyclopaedia alive !!

The hostel is located in 10-minute walk distance from the central and 12 minute from the sea where has a very amazing sunset. It is big but keeps very clean, everyone put off shoes in the front of the house. I very enjoyed one week stay this time, nicely met other solo travelers from all over the world. We chatted, laughed and took pictures together. so unforgettable. Moreover, I must say Kori is so nice!!! He picked us up at the airport and also drove us to it at the end especially prepared with a small gift to every guest which moved us a lot, like a farewell to one of my friends or relatives. I will miss all happened there. thanks a lot.

Located in Hanga Roa, 1.2 km from Pea, Hostal y Cabañas Aorangi provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hostel features family rooms. Owner is a sweet lady. We travelled in a group of 8. She met us at the airport. We had a smooth transportation to the hotel. She also drove us to the crafted market and picked up us at the museum in a rainy day and didn’t ask us to pay. We insisted to pay for gas as minimum . Big thumbs up for this property!

This hotel is charming! The attention to detail is just right and the staff has such a great vibe. As a solo traveler I felt very whole and safe staying here. The rooms are spacious with excellent air conditioning. The food is generous and overall the hotel has a homey vibe which is what I loved the most. Cat also was great <3 the girls who picked me up at the airport with a flower necklace were a treat and it kick started my holiday on a great note. Congratulations and thank you !!!

Our host was absolutely fantastic - super friendly, helpful, and ended up being our (mandatory) guide to visit the moai which was much cheaper than another guide. They help you organise anything you need and you are picked up (for free) from the airport and also dropped off. The rooms are very comfy, mine had a balcony which was lovely. Price is good considering the expense of being on the island. You could pay cash or card.

Cannot recommend Pua Vaenga more! Bea was a wonderful host, she picked us up from the airport with beautiful flower necklaces. She was amazing from start to finish- was always there when we needed, and took us on an excellent (and really reasonably priced) tour! We learned so much about the Island and it's history, and also got an included beach trip. The hostel itself is lovely, the beds are super comfy and it's kept spotlessly clean. Great location to wander around Hanga Roa. Clean, older facility. Good breakfast. Staff very helpful and positive. Room good size, clean, shower good, beds comfy. Tour desk at hotel was very good.

Amazing ocean front view. Spacious comfortable 5 bed dorm with multiple bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen, dedicated to the room. All staff were lovely, felt welcome, safe and cared for. Good washing service and transfer to and from airport.

Ita, the hostel owner is the best😎 funny, helpful, interested and suuuper friendly! He knows everyone by name! One of the best hostels I've been so far. Really easy to socialize. Felt welcome.

The kindness of the staff was from another world! My experience in the Easter Island would have not been as great as it was without the staff at this hostel. I highly recommend this place for everyone! As a solo female traveller I felt safe.
