Young Backpackers Homestay

Set in Luzern, 2.8 km from Lucerne Station, Young Backpackers Homestay offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. 3.7 km from Lion Monument and 4 km from KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne, the property provides ski storage space, as well as a bar. The accommodation features evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. This is the nicest, most organized and coolest place I've stayed at. Everything is super clean, the view from the outside area and from the living room is just amazing.. The staff is really clear giving all the information and even recommendations. I'm looking forward to staying here again when I come back to Luzern.

The Bellpark Hostel can be found next to the Hofmatt-Bellpark Stop of bus line 1, with direct connections to Lucerne Train Station. You can take advantage of the shared kitchen and lounge, free WiFi and internet stations, and paid private parking. The employees were really nice with the clients! The kitchen was a really nice addition, it was a nice way of saving money on food and a nice way to socialize with the other clients, we also had a tv, a couch and tables in the common room to eat, so cozy! I was upgraded for another room when I checked in, and it was such a nice room. The beds were comfortable, we had a bathroom with toilet and shower in the room and we had a balcony with a table, I had some really nice breakfast with a beautiful view on a mountain. Also the fact that all of the bus expenses in zone 10 of Luzern were covered is really nice.

This modern hostel is situated in Lucerne, 2 km away from the train station and the city centre. It offers a cosy lounge with TV and a library with reading corner. Guests receive a free public transport ticket for the duration of their stay upon check-in. Even though shared bathroom, shower was not crowded. Room was cosy and nice. Breakfast was very good. The heating radiator inside the room worked very well.

The 4 bed female room was clean compact and not congested..the kitchen was fully equipped..connectivity is excellent.and safe for solo female travellers. There were locker facility available at the hostel for luggage storage upon deposit of 2 franks.

The Lucern Youth Hostel was a disappointing experience. The location, about 2.2 km (30-35 minute walk) from the city center, is inconvenient, and relying on the bus schedule can be frustrating. The room I booked, with 20 beds, was overcrowded and stuffy, with only two windows. The confusing numbering system made navigating the maze of rooms, stairways, and hallways a challenge. Being distant from the city center means no nearby stores or restaurants, forcing the hostel to charge high prices for food and drinks.

The capsules were completely black out and as far as I am aware - sound proof. This hostel was exactly what I needed after a long few days of travel. I was able to sleep peacefully for over 10 hours. The breakfast (at a cost) was good value for money and the staff were always willing to help, including leaving my luggage after check out giving me free will to explore for a few more hours prior to my next train.

Genuinely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Extremely comfortable beds with plenty of space and privacy as they are within personal pods, which were very nice. The Peter Pan vibe/theme of the hostel was very fun and imaginative. Clean bathrooms and showers that included shampoo & body wash. Nice common area to do work which included a bar for tasty food, drinks, and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy self check-in & check-out.

One of the best Hostels I've ever stayed in! Everything clean and organized. The bed is good, spacious and dark to sleep. (and with lights that regulate) Perfect location. bathroom with sink, shower and toilet together. (It makes it a lot easier.)
