Very friendly family that runs the hotel/hostel. Because it was still low season we got a free upgrade to a better room which is always a nice surprise. The room was very comfortable and the location is fantastic. There is also a lovely little common area where you can watch TV and enjoy a free selection of teas.

At the hostel, all rooms have a desk. With a shared bathroom fitted with a shower, rooms at Allegro Alpin Lodge also have free WiFi, while some rooms also offer a lake view. All guest rooms feature a wardrobe. Friendly! Great location surrounded by fields! Easy walk to town!

Located in Engelberg, 500 metres from the Titlis Rotair Cable Car, Engelberg Youth Hostel features a buffet restaurant and a summer terrace. A ski school and the European Walking Tours Office are reachable within a 2-minute walk. Great stay, helpful staff, they let me stay by myself in a dorm and gave me an early check-in, breakfast was also very good. Less than 10mon walk to the cable car and 5 minutes to the train station. Would definitely come back!

Throughout very clean, tidy and comfortable, all services accessible. The host was very kind and accommodating, even when we arrived 2 hours late due to a traffic accident en route. A very approachable individual. We would gladly stay again.
