This is the most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed. The view from the hostel is amazing. Location is good. But please keep in mind that it's better to take the Bus 122 to get to hostel instead of walking up the hill( if it's your first time arriving there).

Amazing view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau from the private room. Shared room experience was also a pleasent surprise. Breakfast was varied and tasty. We woke up at 7 AM and had the First Cliff Walk almost only to ourselves before the crowds came with the gondolas. The staff was really kind and friendly. The 3 course supper was very delicious (salad, ragout and applecake) and price/quality ratio was exceptional for Swiss standards.

The staff are too friendly and very efficient in providing the best facilities to the clients. They were even ride to provide us a drive when the bus to interlaken got cancelled and we were to miss our paragliding slot. Breakfast is the best. Their Swiss Culinary(we had our dinner there) is just delicious.

The location was great, it was really close to the town, right on the lake, and very close to a great kayak rental shop that I used. The hosts were so kind and helpful, the hostel was very clean and well-thought out, and everything was just excellent, especially for my first time staying in a hostel and traveling alone.

Enjoying a quiet and slightly elevated position on the edge of Saanen, the 2014 newly-built Youth Hostel offers healthy local cuisine and free WiFi.

Great architecture, very well laid out, good food, nice staff. Perfect for family skiing, groups of friends etc etc. we actually had a mishap on the slopes- a member of our party broke her collar bone and needed hospitalisation and the staff at the hostel went above and beyond with their helpfulness and understanding. The provided a late dinner for anxious parents and lots of advice and reassurance as well as flexibility around check out and booking extra nights. Would rate 110%
