This was honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The atmosphere was super welcoming and it was so easy to meet people – perfect for solo travelers. The staff were incredibly kind and always happy to help with recommendations or just have a chat.
The location was ideal, close to everything I needed, and the hostel itself was clean, cozy, and had a great vibe. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were always clean, and the common areas had a really chill energy. I also appreciated the small details – lockers, good Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped kitchen.

Towels are available for a deposit. It's a great place to meet new people and hang out with them. Super open and tolerant! Loved it!

Everything, staff were very helpful. Allowed me to leave luggage on last day so I didn't have to pull it around town on the last day. The other people in the hostel were respectful and friendly. Felt very safe and comfortable . View from hostel was incredible !

A truly home away from home. We'll equipped kitchen, plenty of tea and coffee provided, welcome kit (lots of baked goods, fruits and more waiting for us in the fridge). Living area and bedroom, quality entertainment system. To top it off there is a hot tub outside. This is a bargain, cheaper than a budget motel, and offering first-class accommodation.

Private room at budget price, fridge in room, plenty of shared bathrooms. Breakfast and vegan dinner included, even a free beer. Location perfect for buses or walking downtown. Guests talked to each other rather than just staring at their phones. Friendly staff. Wished I could stay longer. What a gem of a hostel.

It was okay. They had bike storage which was great. Free beer on arrival and also free breakfast which was pretty decent! We had a private room. The rooms need modernising, rip out all the old janky sinks and cupboards and it would give more room. Felt a little prison cell (not that I have been in prison!) I mean it did the job and it was a backpacker hostel after all but a little bit of modernising could vastly improve it. Try the burrito place opposite, it is excellent

Really nice hostel in downtown Victoria. The staff is great, knowledgeable and also very polite. There is a bar on site and they offer a vegan meal for dinner, which is great for socialising with the other guests. There is even space to put a bike and laundry machines in the basement. The hostel seems also well maintained. The best hostel in Victoria!
